Buffett and Trump Say Buy Real Estate Now

Posted by Gregory Young at Mar 03, 2012 | No Comments »

Timely Rent Payments to Impact Credit Scores

Posted by Gregory Young at Feb 24, 2012 | No Comments »

New credit reporting tactics mean that rent payments may now have an impact on your credit score. So if you haven’t been faithful about making timely payments because they’re not reported to the credit bureaus, it’s time to change that habit.

In June 2010, Experian purchased RentBureau, a rental reporting agency that collected rental payment information. Keep track of your mortgage

Posted by admin at Feb 22, 2012 | No Comments »

You have applied for a mortgage and it has been agreed. Congratulations. However this does not mean that you should just relax and forget all about it. This could mean that you stay with the same mortgage product for the next twenty-five years, if it is a basic variable-rate mortgage, or until the end of a negotiated fixed-rate or tracker term, which might be 3, 5 or 10 years. A lot can change in that time – both in your personal circumstances and in the general state of the economy. Mortgage deals come and go in an ever-changing market so it might be possible to renegotiate your mortgage on more favourable terms at some point in the future. Keep an eye on mortgage rates and advertised mortgage products.

One of the easiest ways to do this is by looking at on-line websites such as Moneysavingexpert.com or checking the best deals section of the personal finance pages of your Saturday or Sunday newspaper to find the best mortgages. T Read more…
